Next Program for the Jung Society of Colorado Springs
Religion, Spirituality, and Jungian Psychology
Lecture by Kathryn Kuisle, Jungian Analyst
Friday, February 10, 2012 - 7 pm
Entry: $8-members, $12-non-members
Many, perhaps most, people throughout the world are searching for something more. Some people pursue this quest through material accumulation. Many others search for meaning, for something deeper, something that enriches their inner lives. Carl Jung described this longing as springing from the “religious instinct” in every human psyche. His expansive study of religions of the world is an aspect of his deep interest in the underlying spirituality of all humans.
This lecture will address this innate longing of the human person by exploring how religion, spirituality and Jungian psychology interweave and support the soul’s quest for wholeness.
